August came in and was on her way out as if she had somewhere very important to be. I almost missed this post. I literally woke up at 4 a.m. today, like I know something important is happening astrologically that I should be posting about. But what in the world could it be?
And then it hit me: Today is the Aquarius full moon. I got up so quickly and started typing this newsletter for you all, with eye boogers still in my eye and everything.
So, without further ado, let’s unpack the Aquarius full moon together, my love. It’s going to be a good one :)

As sister signs, the Sun in Leo and Moon in Aquarius will challenge (oppose) one another, creating friction between your individual desires and the needs of the group/team/collective society, taking risks and following the crowd, and raw creativity and intentional innovation.
When is the Aquarius Full Moon?
The one and only Aquarius full moon in 2024 will occur on Sunday, August 19, at around 2:25 pm EST, 11:25 am PST.
Keep in mind that the energies of this Aquarius full moon are active between Friday, August 16, and Monday, September 2, 2024. So don’t feel pressured. You have time to work with this energy and observe how it shows up for you.
Pro tip: I always try to wait at least five days after the full moon to journal and document my observations. Waiting to write down and assess my thoughts allows me time to process the impact of the full moon and let the energy settle.
What does the Aquarius Full Moon mean?
Aquarius, the Water Bearer of the zodiac, symbolizes innovation, humanitarianism, and forward-thinking. Aquarius's energy is often known for its originality, progressive mindset, and surprisingly generous spirit.
Aquarians are like society's futurists. They have a unique ability to encourage others to embrace their individuality and think creatively, and they are often far ahead of their age, current societal trends, and tax bracket.

And I say that because too many of us have been living in our heads out of fear of perfectionism and judgment. But you are not a trend.
You are a living, breathing, constantly changing, always evolving, beautiful species called a human. It is your job to try and "mess things" up.
Just think of it as your "scientific process."

With Mercury Rx still in effect during the full moon, you may even see your favorite throwbacks or classics resurface. This is a great time for promoting things that people already know and love.
Building a team/changes in team dynamics/reconnecting with community: You may notice changes within your team at work or a group/organization that you belong to. For example, if you or your kids play recreational sports, there may be changes to a practice schedule. On a professional level, you could be paired up with a new coworker from a different department or collaborating with a thought leader from your industry. Entrepreneurs and business owners may be learning how to delegate tasks or outsourcing to an assistant.
Increased interest in in-person meetups/events: Although Aquarius rules the internet, this full moon is rising at a Gemini degree. Gemini loves face-to-face interactions. You may notice that you and your friends are more likely to visit each other at home or meet out for lunch instead of calling over Facetime or texting. You may also be eager to get out for the end of the summer festivities like festivals, picnics, and concerts before the cool weather sets in. Try to spend as much time in person with your people as you can. Put down the phones!
Huge focus on the media/publishing/the tech space: You may notice a huge shift back to Youtube, blogging, ebooks, masterclasses, mini courses, etc. This full moon is excellent for publishing your thoughts or pitching them to a larger publication. You may also receive or notice increased activity or announcements in the tech space. There could be new developments with AI or you could be testing new softwares/systems at work.
